I hereby invite you to our maiden Dinner Club! Something Sara suggested and we've tossed about amongst 0urselves and have picked a date:

It's a potluck with a theme. We'll start out with Italiano, no?
Rage-a-rito had the good idea to start a blog (hey everyone's doing it!) that we can all post to with what we are bringing and also to maybe come up with a name for our group.
I'll start -
For dinner, I'm making risotto
And for our name, I'm proposing GooF~SC (Good Friends Supper Club)
Of course, I've borrowed a phrase from our lovely Lynnis McGinnis for the blog name - Shameless but Harmless - that's us!
As always, with our gatherings, anyone is welcome. Just please let us know that you are coming and what you are bringing.
I'm not certain how this blog thing works, so we can all figure it out together.

Knox and I are going to bring Italian Meatloaf. It's delish!
So excited! I think Amy and I will bring a chicken cacciatore. And possibly a roasted vegetable salad.
Holly and I will be there with desert...something sweet!
While I love to cook and have a great many recipes with this genre, I'll bring some Italian wine because I think we've got viddles covered!
I'm off my roasted vegetable salad idea. I'm starting to wonder if meatloaf and risotto is plenty for main dish, and instead I should bring veg or salad? What do y'all think?
Otherwise, I can still do chicken cacciatore.
(p.s.) For those of you who know about my bizarre raw fruit and veg allergy, I've had an amazing thing happen. I can eat the things I'm allergic to! I can tell the remarkable story at dinner, but suffice it to say that I can eat almost everything now.
Given your new vegability, if you feel up to making something vegalicious, I think that would be awesome. We'll need something along those lines. If you don't want to though, I was thinking Knox and I could also bring a salad. Lemme know.
I think Mike and his mom will bring an olive tray.
I have several bottles of wine and Rachel's mom's homemade lemony good Limoncello.
